Year 6 Mental health during SATS

For year 6 parents, supporting your child through SATS, their first externally assessed test, can be quite demanding in terms of encouraging and supporting. Getting the right balance is key. If you are calm as parent you are giving your child their best chance. Give your child a relaxing weekend before the tests start and try to keep bed times realistic so that your child is as ready as they can be.
